The first ever pandamonium party took to the streets last night with hundreds of pandas dancing in Union Square. The pandas hopped on the train and made their way to Williamsburg where the festivities continued. Unfortunately the NYPD decided that pandas having fun in the street were a threat and made several arrests angering the panda mob. Despite their best efforts the party continued until past midnight with boomboxes blaring and pandas partying in the streets!
Thanks to all who helped make this event, thanks to all who came out to participate, Panda Power!
Checkout the leaflet we handed out here.
“Ain’t no party like a panda party, ’cause a panda party don’t stop!”
If anyone has any video or photos of the 4 arrests and accompanying police violence please email us at pandamoniumlegal(at)gmail(dot)com.
Stayed tuned for a communique from the pandas who organized this event!
